About the event
It is very common to experience:
- Worry about who is looking after you now that you are suddenly not seeing your medical team as frequently
- A fear that your cancer will return
- Feelings of loss or abandonment as support from family & friends subsides
- Appearing normal & healthy on the outside, but on the inside … still recovering physically & emotionally from your experience
- The expectation from friends & family that you should be fine now that your treatment is finished
- A delayed reaction to all that you have been through
- Heightened emotions such as feeling sad, fearful, anxious, or angry
Julie will share useful tips for improving quality of life and emotional well-being during this transition period as you re-adjust to your new life after cancer.
